"During the season of Lent this year, Faith Lutheran is offering a series of presentations called Faith in the Midst of Strife as part of our midweek Lenten services. The programs will run on Wednesdays beginning February 24 and ending March 24. We’ll start the evening by enjoying a light soup supper at 6:00 p.m. with the program following at 6:30 p.m. Each week, we will have a different speaker from a different background, bringing pictures and stories to explain the political and religious climate in Israel and Palestine. This is a unique opportunity to hear different perspectives from people who have lived in, visited, or worked in the Holy Land. They will share with us their own real stories and experiences, to help us understand what it means to live, survive, and hope in the power of God to bring peace.
