We wiil once again be collecting toys and other items in an attempt to bring Christmas in Summer to children who are admitted to the Ronald McDonald House at Loyola Hospital.  The reason we collect these items in the summer is that they rarely receive donations during the summer months, even though the need is just as strong as in other times of the year. 

Below you will find a list of items that have been identified as needs by staff at Loyola.  You can also donate other toys and games if you like, but all items must be new and in the original packaging.  Or if you prefer not to shop, we can accept cash donations or gift cards from Target, Toys R Us or and other store that carries childrens games and toys.

We will have a box at Faith to collect donations beginning in June.  You can give cash donations to Pastor Gabi or a member of the Mission Team or you can put it in an envelope clearly marked "Christmas in Summer" and place it in the offering basket on Sunday morning. 

The following is the list of suggested donations:

• Infant mobiles (to hang over cribs) that must be made of hard plastic
• Brio trains (just the engines and cars, not tracks)
• Fisher Price Little People
• UNO cards (good for kids in isolation, but can't be reused)
• DVD's (child appropriate; the $5 discount bins are good for these)
