Faith will be celebrating our Thanksgiving service on Sunday November 23rd. After the 10:30 a.m. Celebration Service, a potluck Thanksgiving Feast will be held in our Fellowship Hall. Also, the church will be open on Wednesday evening November 26, Thanksgiving Eve, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for anyone wishing to offer prayers of thanksgiving. Please celebrate Thanksgiving with us on Sunday or Wednesday and enjoy the holiday with your family and friends on Thursday. |

Faith is proud to be hosting a performance by famed speaker, writer and dramatist Maggie Rowe. On December 13 at 2:00 p.m. Ms. Rowe will be present her one-woman, one-act play "The Woman Jesus Called Mother". This play allows the audience to meet Mary of Nazareth in 14 different scenes over the course of her life. We first meet Mary as a young girl growing up in an observant Jewish home in Nazareth, and finally as an elderly woman looking back over her son's life and the meaning of his birth, death and resurrection. |

Faith will be celebrating it's 85th Anniversary on December 2, 2008. The celebration wiil take place during the first weekend in December. On Saturday December 6th, Faith will host it's annual Christmas Festival which will provide an opportunity to celebrate the anniversary while welcoming the season of Advent. On Sunday December 7th, we will celebrate the anniversary at our 10:30 a.m. Celebration Service with a special guest, Bishop Wayne Miller of Metropolitan Chicago Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. |
